So, I was thinking about my high speed internet options yesterday, and I took a look at what the pricing was to upgrade my current high speed internet package. Come to find out, upgrading to Road Runner Turbo was only 10 bucks extra a month. That’s right, just 10 bucks more.

Here are the theoretical specs of upgrading from STANDARD to TURBO:

STANDARD

• Downloads: 7mbps
• Uploads: 512kbps

TURBO

• Downloads: 15mbps
• Uploads: 2mbps

So last night, I played both Borderlands and CoDMW2 and found out I’m two completely different people when I play them. While playing Borderlands, I was actually enjoying the gameplay, looting and turning in quests, compared to CoDMW2 when I was shouting and yelling at the TV because I was PWNED by some 12 year-old or killed by freakin’ LAG.

So my conclusion, if I want to live a stress-free life and enjoy my existence here on Earth, I think I’m going to switch back to playing Borderlands. I remember the endless nights of loot runs, leveling, and NPC pwnage that has sparked new interest for the beloved Borderlands. How can you resist this RPG-FPS? And, how can you beat the recent DLCs available for this game? The astrological signs are pointing towards Borderlands, and I cannot just ignore this itch; I must scratch it. So, I’m officially stating that I, Josh Dale, will take a breather from CoDMW2 and enter the world of “Pandora.”

I’ve been hectically trying to catch up to be able to enjoy the season primer of Lost next week. So the past couple of days and nights, I’ve caught up to season 2, episode 19. I know I have a long ways to go, but hopefully ABC or Hulu.com will post the new episodes as soon as they are broadcasted.

So far, everyone on the Island has had it for 48 days and everything is about to “hit the fan.” Hopefully tonight, I’ll be able to finish the last part of season 2. Not too sure about the “Dharma Initiative”; seems like a “cult” to me. Who knows? I think I’m about to be confused outta my mind and will be reading up the forums to try to understand all the chaos that is Lost

Pwn some snipers in this video on Underpass. This map is so sniper heavy, but I do some work with my Killstreaks and the Akimbo Rangers, and the FTW triple kill at the end of the video. I have some more uploads coming soon, sorry this time I decide to keep out the commentary and just let the gameplay speak for itself…

So tonight, Catherine and I are playing some Geometry Wars. I’ve racked up a pretty descent score of 180,000 or so with some very nifty maneuvers. Catherine, in her competitive spirit, is determine to beat that score. So while I’m writing this post (and streaming her attempts), Catherine has been rage quitting 3 out of the 4 times she plays a round.

“OMG! WTF! Are you kidding me!” these three phrases are becoming all too familiar; I even heard a “PWNED!” I would love to see her play some CoDMW2 or Halo. Hey, maybe I could get some gameplay/commentary on the youtube. Great idea

Apparently there’s a hack going around where your XP and Prestige ranking will reset back to Level 1 (all will be lost from all your hard work and sleepless nights). So PainCakesxX has provided for us a quick way to exit MW2 without you losing all of your XP and Prestige rankings…

Just exit the game by pulling up your Dashboard menu, and enter Dashboard…nothing will be affected by the hack, and you will be able to return to normal gaming. If you don’t exit via Dashboard, all your stats will reset (no bueno). Here’s the video posted on PainCakesxX youtube channel:

Catherine is at it again, with live gameplay commentary. This has been the highest score she’s achieve since starting to play Geometry Wars, please disregard my douchey comments early on in the video, they are quickly shut up by this fantastic display of skill, wits, and know-how. I forgot how awesome the Lego Indiana Jones: The Original Adventures. Played that all weekend long with Cat and we had a great time smacking Legos around and solving Lego puzzles. We beat the game last night, all streamed on justin.tv. I remember Lego and LucasArts publishing their Star Wars renditions, so I bought the Lego Star Wars: The Complete Saga today of newegg.com. w00t++

If you’ve been living under a rock the past week or so, NBC has decided to push Jay Leno’s show, the aptly named The Jay Leno Show, to the 11:35PM time slot which has been The Tonight Show‘s time slot for 60 years. This has, as you would expect, caused some ill-fainted feelings towards NBC by most of the current host’s fans, Conan O’brien.

It has been rumored that Conan O’brien will have talks with FOX to help start the broadcasting network first late night talk show. In my opinion, Conan would be a great fit with the likes of FOX, considering Conan was a writer for The Simpsons. FOX has been known to breed great comedy, and this would allow Conan to really push the limits he has done so well with The Late Show with Conan O’brien and The Tonight Show.
